Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office, the Department of Social Protection and Regional Skills, are delighted to host the Employment and Training Expo 2026 in Monaghan this May.
Following the success of the Cavan Expo earlier this year, attention now turns to Monaghan, where the next Employment and Training Expo will take place in Monaghan Institute on Thursday 28 May 2026, from 4pm to 7pm.
This free event brings together employers, education and training providers, and career support services under one roof, offering attendees the opportunity to explore a wide range of employment, apprenticeship and upskilling options available locally.
The Expo will be of interest to:
- individuals seeking employment or training opportunities
- people considering a career change or return to work
- recent graduates and school leavers
- parents supporting young people as they plan next steps
- anyone interested in education, training or skills development
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with local employers, learn about apprenticeship and progression pathways, and access guidance and information from a range of support services.
