
Minister of State Hildegarde Naughton visits Beech Hill College
Minister of State for Disability, Hildegarde Naughton, paid an official visit to Beech Hill College last week, meeting directly with pupils and teachers and gaining insight into the school’s inclusive learning environment.
The Minister was welcomed by Acting Principal, Siobhán Sheerin, and was joined by past student, TD David Maxwell. Together, they enjoyed a tour of the school, including a visit to the RISE classroom, the school’s dedicated ASD unit. During the visit, Minister Hildgarde had the opportunity to speak with both pupils and teachers about their experiences and the support available to them.
Minister Naughton said the visit highlighted the important work being done to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Acting Principal Siobhán Sheerin added, “We were delighted to welcome Minister Naughton to our school. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the achievements of our pupils and the dedication of our teachers.”
