Employment and Training Expo 2026
Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office, the Department of Social Protection and Regional Skills, will host two Employment and Training Expos this spring across the region.
The first event takes place in Hotel Kilmore, Cavan, on Thursday, 26 March 2026, from 4pm to 7pm.
A second Expo will follow in Monaghan Institute, on Thursday, 28 May 2026, also from 4pm to 7pm.
Both events are free and open to the public.
These Expos bring employers, education providers and career support services together under one roof, offering visitors the chance to explore a wide range of employment, apprenticeship and upskilling opportunities currently available across Cavan and Monaghan.
The events will be particularly helpful for:
- recent graduates
- Leaving Certificate students
- parents supporting young people preparing to move on from school
- individuals seeking new employment or training options
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the local business community, learn about apprenticeship pathways and progression routes, and speak with career guidance practitioners for tailored advice.
Whether you are planning your first steps into the workforce or considering a change of direction, the Employment and Training Expo provides a welcoming and informative space to explore your options.
