CMETB Elects New Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) has elected Cllr. Clifford Kelly as its new Chairperson and Cllr. Aidan Campbell as Deputy Chairperson.

The appointments were confirmed at a recent meeting of the Board. Members congratulated both councillors on their appointments and wished them every success in their new roles.

The Board also acknowledged the leadership and commitment of outgoing Chairperson Aprilanna Barker, thanking her for her dedicated service and contribution during her term. The Board also recognised the contribution of outgoing Deputy Chairperson Cllr. Damien Brady and thanked him for his service.

Speaking following his election, Cllr. Kelly said he looked forward to working with Board members, the Executive team, staff and stakeholders to continue supporting the delivery and development of education and training services throughout the region.
