Admissions Now Open for Monaghan Community Special School

Monaghan Community Special School is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Under the patronage of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), the new school will provide a supportive and tailored educational experience for students aged 4 to 18 years old. It will cater for children with autism and complex learning needs, as well as those with complex learning needs and a professional recommendation for special schooling.

Parents and guardians can now download the Application Form from the CMETB website at www.cmetb.ie/mcss   

Further documents available for download include, Admissions Policy, Admissions Notice, GDPR Compliance Note and Monaghan Community Special School Code of Behaviour 2025-2026 

Completed applications will be accepted from 10 March 2025 at 9am. The closing date for receipt of applications is 31 March 2025 at 2pm.
