Applications Now Open for Reach Funding 2025

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), in partnership with SOLAS, is inviting local community and youth education providers/groups to apply for funding under the REACH Fund 2025.

What is Reach Funding?

Reach Funding is designed to improve access to education and support for learners who face educational disadvantage. This funding aims to increase participation in education, especially for those involved in literacy and skills programmes.

Across Ireland, Reach-funded projects support learning, help connect communities, and offer social supports to vulnerable groups. These include people who are long-term unemployed, young people, people with disabilities, members of the Traveller and Roma communities, migrants and refugees, persons returning to the workforce, and lone parents.

Funding Categories:

Community education providers can apply for funding in the following areas:

Projects focused on widening and increasing participation of target groups in learning that offers accreditation at NFQ level 1 to 3, or on non-accredited programmes that provide clear pathways to accredited provision at NFQ levels 1 to 3.

Projects that will support learners to engage/participate in community based educational programmes.

Projects that address topics such as climate justice education, education for sustainable development and building climate literacy.

Projects engaged in education outreach and pre-development work to support the most marginalised and disadvantaged groups.
